First Aid Course September 16 2011

The First Aid Course that I completed on the 16th of September 2011 at Marist Sisters was a great first hand experience in expanding my knowledge on the requirements involved in the health and safety of myself and others. As injury is inevitable, it was a great opportunity to learn about what needs to be done in a case of a illness or injury where medical advice isn't always provided. I enjoyed being able to complete practical activities during the course to be able to get a better understanding of real life situations. It was interesting to learn about the several ways in minimising more injury on the patient. Additionally, being able to learn how to bandage patients depending on their injury and what injuries are prioritised was also interesting to learn about.Overall, the entire day was a great opportunity to learn about the different aspects of First Aid, how it would be treated and hopefully minimised.
